Abstract

The article considers the development of models for describing and evaluating the effectiveness of self-organizing and self-repairing ad hoc mobile communication networks, the control of the self-organizing robotic system, and a conflict of hierarchically organized groups of agents. As a mathematical apparatus, multi-agent models and cellular automata are used. In particular, the model of agents’ motion and communication is described as two connected cellular automata. We demonstrate the relationship of proposed models with some models in the form of differential equations. Also, we describe the structure of the model and obtain the features of the problems being solved, examples of numerical characteristics, as well as possible applications.
