Russian labour market: major trends as a result of reforms

Abstract

The paper illuminates major trends of changes in Russian labor market during the reform period, namely employment level decrease, accelerating inter-regional disproportion, transforming inter-branch structure of employment and changing employment by the type of property, rising scale of non-traditional forms of employment. The author depicts the infl uence of changes in labor market on a level and a differentiation of compensation system.
