Collective changes and peculiarities of the Russian labour market
Abstract
The distinctive features of the planned economy were full employment, tightly regulated wages, and limited labor mobility. The transition to a market economy meant abandoning the full-time employment regime together with the liberalization of wage setting, these changes led to significant qualitative changes in the Russian labor market.
