The article shows the possibility of using the methodology of paradigms to analyze the development of scientific ideas about the regularities and laws of the corporate growth. The article highlights the paradigms of the corporate growth. The research revealed three growth paradigms: the causal paradigm, the growth outcome paradigm and the process paradigm. Two problems are solved: the classification of theories and models of the firms growth and the definition of research areas for each paradigm. At present, the process of the formation of a new, integration paradigm of growth focused on the study of the inter-organizational integration processes is underway.
