Abstract

This article proposes the concept of an information system for managing mass events, which use situational management approaches. In this case, the subject of management establishes restrictions for the management object to make the necessary decision, which is within the limits of these restrictions. Thus, the influence of the subject of management on the object is only indirect, but at the same time all the decisions of the object correspond to the ultimate goal – the holding of the event. In the case of situational management approaches at mass events, automation of management processes is necessary. Since mass events belong to different spheres of activity and have different scenarios, the information system for mass events should have a modular structure. Due to the modular structure, the organizers will be able to customize for a specific event. Such an information system at each time point will analyze the current situation and determine the need to change the restrictions without involving the organizers. With a large number of participants at the event, it becomes obvious that such a serious analytical work requires a large amount of computing power. In this case, the most cost-effective solution is to use distributed power to calculate the constraints. The proposed solution for public events will significantly reduce staff costs by automating the decision-making process.
