The author substantiates the need to assess the system of employment relations, including standard and non-standard forms of employment. The author suggests to carry out an assessment in such directions as determination of ability of system of the relations of employment to adapt independently to the occurring changes, harmony of a combination of standard and non-standard forms of employment of the population, and also identification of the main determinants of development of system of the relations of employment of the population. The developed method is based on the use of statistical data and index approach, which ensures its universal character. The use of correlation and regression analysis in the methodology provides an opportunity not only to assess the current state of the system of employment relations, but also to forecast its development.
