Modern practices of economic management tend to set difficult organizational and economic problems for an enterprise to solve. Those problems can be solved if we rest on the stimulating function of wages. In the article the management approach to the essence and to classifying forms and systems ofwages is applied. It is based on the understanding of wages as a managerial tool. The given classification will allow to ensure following the conditions of adequacy of forms and systems pay employees for their different activities.
