Innovation as the Economy and Management Category

Abstract

Innovations today are not only the way to the super-profits earning, competitiveness increasing and capturing the leading positions, but imperious necessity. Innovation activity is the way to survive. But a lot of entrepreneurs do not want to invest into innovations and development. It happens mostly because insufficient elaboration of the theoretical propositions which will in appropriate way reflect the essence and the reasons of innovations origin, the characteristics of innovation activity and its management process. In this article the main approaches to the innovations' essence considered and the new author's approach proposed.
