Modernization of Russian sea law with the aim of increasing of efficiency of state support in development of national ship-repair industry

Abstract

In this article the modernization of Russian maritime legislation to improve the effectiveness of state support in the development of ship-repair industry. Over the past 15 years, the Russian ship repair industry has undergone major changes that will have favorable impact on its development. A decline in all major indicators of production efficiency. One way to support the domestic ship repair industry is the return of Russian ships for service in domestic ports and the competitiveness of Russian shipyards. To achieve this, the State has been tasked to take action on the liberation of the calculation and payment of value added tax works and services for maritime and inland waterway vessels.
