Essence and institutional specificity of «knowledge economics»

Abstract

The nature of economy, based on knowledge in two interrelated aspects - theoretical and practical is revealed. The structure of the knowledge economy, which includes functionally interdependent subsystems: informational, intellectual (cognitive), innovative, interactive (communication) and institutional was justified. A conclusion was drawn, that institutional system of the knowledge economy has three levels: the baseline is generated by institutes, the second level - are institutions of the “knowledge economics”, and the third level are standards and rules, based on institutions.
