Small business loans as a key element of development strategy in commercial bank''s active operations in Russia

Abstract

Purpose: This article is devoted to the strategies of Russian commercial banks development, searching for effective measures for expansion of small business lending. Discussion: Base directions of development of small business lending are discovered on the basis of the analysis of existing strategies of development of small business lending in the Russian bank sector and at the level of the separate credit company. Results: A number of measures on development of domestic banks active operations in small business segment are offered within the framework of the directions.
