Strategic planning of energy efficiency coal companies

Abstract

Purpose: In the article the issues of organization of strategic planning of the coal-mining enterprises development are considered. Discussion: There is examined the need of development of a comprehensive strategic program, which allows the coal-mining enterprises greatly reduce the negative consequences of influence of external and internal environment factors. The article describes the principles of strategic planning at the coal enterprises. Also it substantiates the link between the effective preparation of the strategic plan of the coal enterprises development and a sustainable competitive positions. Results: The analysis revealed that the energy efficiency of the coal company is one of the most important approaches to solving problems and improving the competitiveness of the company maintaining a sustainable competitive position in the long term. There are proposed future directions of the strategic planning development at the enterprises of coal industry. There are proposed solutions to the problems of realization of projects on energy saving and energy efficiency in coal mines.
