Health as making qualities of life: analysis of some factors

Abstract

Purpose: In the article, the authors have considered approaches to determination of quality of life, analyzed the indicators characterizing one of its components such as health and the factors influencing it, by the example of Perm region. Results: The considered indicators were compared with the averages across the Russian Federation and such indicators as pollution of waters and the atmosphere - with the indicators of regions of Volga federal district. Discussion: The carried-out analysis allowed to draw the following conclusion: despite the high economic capacity of Perm region, the quality of life of its population on many indicators characterizing such component of quality as health, is below the average Russian level. Current situation demands the acceptance of the effective measures directed to improvement of quality of health care and environmental protection, by the leaders of the region.
