Industrial parks in Russia and abroad: the experience of creation and development

Abstract

Purpose : To identify the main significant differences in the practice of the organization of industrial parks in Russia and some foreign countries. Methods : To accomplish the objectives highlighted conducted a comparative analysis of existing Russian and foreign industrial parks, as well as the relevant legislation of Russia and foreign countries. Results : The analysis of the primary data and information provided by industrial parks revealed quantitative and qualitative differences, including: the number of existing industrial parks, the value of the occupied area, the number of park residents, the lack of a pronounced specialization of a common legal framework, less developed infrastructure in the Russian industrial parks, low density fullness park residents, as well as various management strategy creation and development of parks or their absence altogether.
