Rural tourism as a dominant sustainable rural development

Abstract

Purpose: The article deals with agritourism as one of the economic activities that can enhance the development of rural areas and to improve the welfare of their inhabitants. Discussion: The results of the analysis of the current and future state of agricultural tourism in Russia. Among the most popular places for agro-tourism, and the reasons for their popularity. Results: We formulate recommendations to address the issues discussed tourism activities in modern conditions.
