Prospects of airport sector in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

Abstract

Purpose: research current trends of the development of transport infrastructure the main oil-producing countries of the Middle East at the example of airport sector. Discussion: we identified key areas for further development of the aviation sector in the countries of the region under study, in particular projects to build cities airports. We considered the stimulating effect of the transport infrastructure of the region to the level of diversification of the economy through new growth points, as well as to reduce the national economies dependence on the export of minerals. Result, we present a comparative analysis of the investment component in the formation of airport infrastructure in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America and African countries.
