Main characteristics of «green» logistics in emerging markets
Abstract
Purpose: the article describes the main features and characteristics of the implementation of the principles of «green» logistics in emerging markets. Discussion: consideration of the main areas of implementation of «green» logistics allowed identifying the impact of the «green» logistics on the economic and social values; also the article examines the key drivers and barriers for the implementation of «green» technologies in logistics, and the analysis of the characteristics of emerging markets in the process of introducing «green» technologies. Results: the authors identified the main factors curbing the introduction and implementation of «green» logistics in emerging markets.
