Import substitution in agrarian and industrial complex: realities,chances and problems

Abstract

Purpose: to consider the content of import substitution and to prove the main directions of import substitution in agrarian and industrial complex of the country and region. Discussion: we show the content and the necessity of import substitution in the agro-industrial complex of Russia. In this study, we reveal the possibility of the factors and problems of Russia in import substitution and as well as we present modern tools and mechanisms of state support for agriculture. Results: we found solutions to the issues of import to the Russian agricultural sector through the development of domestic production and marketing infrastructure of agricultural products, the creation of industries for deep processing of agricultural raw materials, attracting investment, the formation of clusters, the mechanism of project financing.
