On the possibilities of additive technologies in Russia

Abstract

identification of threats, constraining development of additive
technology in Russia. Discussion: we present comparative analysis of
additive technologies evolution in the world and in Russia. Lack of systematic
domestic fundamental researches in the field additive technology causes
low level of development in this field of knowledge. Russia’s share in the
global number of scientific publications on this topic does not exceed 1%.
Results: the author analyzed the current technological potential of Russia,
revealed the prospects of development of additive technology. We show
existing threats of gap in this field, in particular the lack of scientific basis,
low interest on the part of Russian industrial enterprises to the development
of additive technology and as a result the lack of qualified professionals.
