Monitoring of medical and social efficiency for activity in regional health care subsystem

Abstract

Purpose : the authors develop the methodology for comparative analysis of the activity efficiency for regional health care subsystems. Discussion : the authors compare the target criteria of medical and social performance and the efficiency of health care systems in the RF constituent units. The authors note a high level of variation in the values of indicators as an analysis result. The authors suggest their original methodology for building of regional health care subsystems rating in efficiency level with the use of fuzzy clustering procedures and describe it. The three-component approach is the basis of hierarchical structure development for the assessment criteria system of subsystems efficiency activity. The three- component approach looks like this: resources – process – result. Results : the authors adduced the empirical results of the efficiency monitoring for health care subsystems on the example of indicators groups of medical and social efficiency. The analysis results indicate the application possibility of the above technique in practice for activity efficiency increase for health care subsystems, both in the municipal formations of the region and in the subsystems of Russian Federation subjects health care.
