Potential for the development of foreign economic activity in the agrarian sector of the economy

Abstract

Purpose: the author studies the development issues of foreign economic activity in the agricultural sector of the region's economy and the definition of the potential in foreign economic relations on the example of Magadan region agricultural production. Discussion: foreign economic relations are an important factor in the development of the national and regional economy, contributing to economic growth, intensification of production, enrichment of the consumer and production market. The implementation of foreign economic activities with neighboring countries and regions allows economic entities to solve technical and economic problems, develop strategies for exporting products, introduce various forms of scientific and production cooperation, including through the creation of joint ventures. Results: the author substantiated the relevance of studying the foreign economic activity development, identified the opportunities and conditions for the formation of foreign economic activity at the regional level, and studied the external economic potential of the agricultural sectors.
