Economic burden analysis of hemodialysis in the region

Abstract

Purpose: the authors analyze the economic burden of renal replacement therapy with the help of hemodialysis in the Voronezh region. Discussion: the work reveals the specifics of conducting clinical, identifies the main methodological approaches and recommendations for the development of a research program. The authors developed the system of cost indicators taking into account the specifics of the studied nosology. Results: the authors calculated the economic burden of hemodialysis care in the Voronezh region in 2017 based on the collected primary documentation, as well as clinical, statistical and economic data. The authors conducted the cost structure analyze and concluded about the dynamics of the economic burden.
