Priority directions of innovative development of agribusiness in the region

Abstract

Purpose: to study of innovative development of agro-industrial complex (agribusiness) in the region to identify its priority areas. Discussion: the article analyzes the current state of the innovative component of agriculture in the region: the active involvement of additional investors in the field of agricultural machinery, the signing of agreements on the implementation of innovation and investment projects, the successful implementation of which will ensure the development of domestic world-class technologies, the construction of Federal research centers. The list of key innovative projects included in the Strategy-2035 in the direction of «Development of agro-industrial complexsa» of the region is also presented. The author reveals the main directions, mechanisms, forms and tools of innovative development of the region. Results: the Implementation of the methodological and practical recommendations proposed in the article on the formation and development of a regional innovation system in agriculture will improve the stability and economic efficiency of the business entity, as well as to implement the process of interaction of innovative systems at various levels and ensure the innovative development of the national economy.
