On the formation of monitoring of sustainable development of rural territories

Abstract

Purpose : sustainable development of rural areas is a complex task. The solution of which requires the use of modern science-based tools to achieve a synergistic effect of applying the efforts of governing bodies at different levels. Consequently, the effectiveness of most activities will be associated with timely decision - making on the use of limited resources for various circumstances in accordance with the strategic parameters of the development of the socio-economic system. The article substantiates the need to develop and apply monitoring of sustainable rural development. Discussion : rural territories play an important role in the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Providing rural conditions for small businesses to function, create new jobs, and improve the demographic situation is impossible without creating a certain standard of living for the population and modern infrastructure on the ground. Results : a study of socio-economic monitoring, its goals and objectives, studied approaches to assessing the sustainable development of rural territories, and proposed methodological tools for the formation of monitoring of sustainable development of rural territories.
