Abstract

Purpose : to reveal the methodological provisions of the author’s approach to systematizing and evaluating the factors of digitalization of the Russian economy that affect the modernization of regional socio-economic policy. Discussion : the process of digitalization of the Russian economy, taking place in the context of deep technological changes and the corresponding socio-economic transformations, involves the modernization of Russian socio-economic policy. At the mesoscale of this policy, the challenges of digitalization presuppose a rethinking of existing ideas about its content, ideas, method of organization, and identification of the key tasks of its modernization. Given the fact that this modernization is due to the influence of factors of digitalization of the economy, a systematization and evaluation of such factors is necessary. Results : a methodology has been developed to systematize and evaluate the digitalization factors of the Russian economy, affecting the modernization of regional socio-economic policies. This result has the following scientific potential: it makes it possible to solve an extended range of problems of systematizing and evaluating various factors that affect systemic formations or processes.
