Analytical support of accounts receivable and payables management in the conditions of economic crisis

Abstract

Purpose: the author offers to develop the analytical support for the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable of the organization, taking into account the manifestations of the economic crisis: inflation, non-payments, reduced availability of external financing. Discussion: today, in the context of a slow economic recovery due to the violation of intra - and inter-industry economic relations, the most urgent tactical issues are the restoration of purchases and sales, establishing settlements with contractors. Organizations need analytical tools for managing receivables and payables, which can be used to assess the real economic effect of the working policy with debtors and creditors, the impact of receivables and payables on the financial covenants of the organization, taken into account by investors, creditors, lenders. Results: the author suggested the methodological recommendations for analyzing and evaluating the economic benefits (losses) of an organization from its receivables and payables, the procedure for assessing the solvency of an organization based on a flexible approach to assessing the liquidity of its receivables and other assets.
