Abstract

Purpose: in this article, the authors consider approaches to improving the efficiency of supply chains in an industrial enterprise, consider a number of methods and technologies for their design and modeling. Discussion: сurrently, the market environment is becoming more dynamic due to the economic crisis and high competition. Organizations are trying to find ways to stay competitive in the market. To do this, managers need to look for ways to optimize the processes of the company's functioning. They need to pay more attention to designing processes at the initial stages for effective operation of the entire enterprise, namely supply chain management. Results: the paper proposes tasks for improving the supply chain, as well as a model of the supply chain management system, which is designed to find new ways to improve the effectiveness of the supply chain, configure the logistics network to the customer's request; study consumer demand; strategic planning of product delivery; supply chain development; use methods to attract new customers.
