Abstract

Purpose: the article deals with the analysis of the implementation of technologies for integrated planning and supply chain management in Russian practice. The author considers the statistics of the use of software for joint planning of logistics activities, and also determines the main advantages and main barriers to the introduction of these information technologies in Russia. Discussion: Globalization, fierce competition, the need to ensure the quality of logistics services are environmental drivers that break the resistance (inability or unwillingness to share information, lack of trust, inconsistency in strategic and operational policies) of companies to the development of interorganizational relations. Collaboration between companies within supply chains provides opportunities to improve the efficiency of each firm and ensure a quick response to market needs. The main reasons for the development of interorganizational relations in supply chains are complementarity and organizational compatibility of partners. The benefits of integrated planning and management are reflected in increased competitive advantages by improving the quality of the organization of logistics processes and increasing the level of service for all participants in the supply chain. The author realized these advantages in the process of introducing and using information technologies that allow organizing integrated activities. But an analysis of the statistics of informatization of Russian companies shows that these software products have not yet found wide application in business. Results: As a result of the study, the author identified the main problems of introducing technologies for integrated planning and supply chain management: low economic confidence, low information technology level, lack of knowledge.
