Principles of strategic planning of socio-economic development of the city

Abstract

Purpose: the article is devoted to the principles of developing strategies for the socio-economic development of large cities. Discussion: аfter the adoption of the Federal Law of June 28, 2014 No 172-FZ «On Strategic Planning in the Russian Federation», urban districts received the right to develop, approve and implement a strategy for their socio-economic development. In addition, this law established an invariant composition of the principles of strategic planning. At the same time, the specificity of a large city as an object of strategic planning makes it necessary to supplement the composition of these principles. Results: The author expanded the meaningful interpretation of the principles of strategic planning approved by the Federal Law of June 28, 2014 No 172-FZ «On strategic planning in the Russian Federation», taking into account the specifics of developing municipal strategies; the features of a large city are identified, which determine the specific requirements for developing a strategy for its development; on their basis, a set of particular principles of strategic planning of the socio-economic development of a large city is proposed.
