Abstract

Purpose: analysis and development of an algorithm for choosing the optimal options for crop rotation, the introduction of digital technologies in the largest sector of the Russian economy – agriculture. Discussion: the paper presents the results of the analysis of the problem of automatic formation of the structure of sown areas, shows the relevance of this problem for large agro-industrial holdings and farms. The economic and ecological criteria for choosing among competing crop rotation systems are given. The factor of the influence of the optimal crop rotation on the improvement of the ecological situation in the fields and, consequently, the phytosanitary state of crops, due to which there is an increase in economic efficiency, is shown. Results: the author introduces the criteria for choosing the structure of the cultivated areas were proposed to be performed using iterations, so that it will be possible to conduct an intermediate assessment of the result, which will allow changing the initial data at the right time, reperforming the calculations. As a result of the study, a crop rotation system was modeled, in which the rules of crop rotation according to predecessors were taken into account.
