Abstract
Purpose: development of the conceptual approach to the evolution (making, modernization) of information technologies and systems. Discussion: the rapid change of parameters value, intensification of the external environment impact, the increase in their strength and diversity, require to improve the efficiency, quality and flexibility of management, to reduce the time and costs of the decision-making process. It inevitably leads to an increasing of volumes and data transfer speed and to a complication of information processing techniques. As consequences of such changes there is the increasing of complexity and number of errors. It requires new approaches in creating and modernizing information technology and information systems. Results: viewed in the article the conceptual approach to the evolution of IT is founded on a sequence of rational thought processes, which is based both on intuition and on logical thinking, and includes the stage of divergence, transformation and convergence, the content of which is disclosed on the basis of categorical analysis.Downloads
