ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF IMPACT OF PRODUCTION AND CLIMATIC FACTORS ON COST AND PROFITABILITY OF GRAIN PRODUCTION IN AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS OF VORO-NEZH REGION

Abstract

Purpose: The article is devoted to analysis of dependence of profitability of agricultural products on amount of drilled fertilizers, impact of cost distribution by types on profitability of agricultural industry in Voronezh Region, the assessment of negative impact of global warming on agriculture of Voronezh Region and possibilities to compensate adverse effects. Discussion: Drilling of fertilizers is the major factor influencing crop yield for agricultural organizations in Voronezh Region, as shown before. Therefore it makes sense to consider it in terms of profitability. Does increase in the amount of fertilizers lead to profitability increase? How many percentage points does profitability of agricultural products increase by in case of increase in expenses for remuneration of labour by one percentage point? How does profitability of agricultural products increase in terms of similar increase in material costs in overall structure of expenditure? Due to a widely discussed problem of global warming, it will be expedient to consider the question of impact of possible effects of global warming on agriculture of Voronezh Region and a possible compensation for adverse effects of such warming. Results: At the amount of mineral fertilizers 60 kg per ga there is a quantum leap and effect of increase in crop yield at the expense of drilled fertilizers exceeds increase in costs for these fertilizers. The received results demonstrate that in overall structure of expenditure remuneration of labor of employees makes the greatest contribution to profit of an agricultural enterprise. Even in a maximum scenario of global warming its negative effects can be compensated by increase in the amount of mineral fertilizers. A crop growth slowdown is possible but the probability is small
