The Russian security market in the conditions of internationalization and globalization

Abstract

Modern Russian stock market on the one hand, holds a leading position in the world in terms of investment attractiveness, on the other hand, confirms status of the high-risk in the world due to high amplitude fluctuation of quotations. This paradox interferes its full development and following the tendencies of the largest markets in the world. In the present article the main problems of the Russian equity market are defined, crises of 1997-1998 and 2008-2009 are analyzed and their main similarities are revealed, the current state and prospects of development of the Russian equity market are evaluated.
