Digital tools of recruiting and evaluation of professional competences for IT-specialists
Abstract
Purpose: the authors conduct the review of digital selection resources for hiring and assessing the professional competencies and business qualities of IT-specialists, since the active use of social networks is now a necessary condition for the effective operation of HR-services and attractive image of the employer in the labor market. Discussion: according to the authors, the digitalization of most management areas has led to increased interest in digital tools in the field of personnel management. Thanks to them, modern employers have new opportunities of reducing time and financial costs to meet the needs of business in HR. Moreover, in working with the personnel who create the latest digital technologies, – IT-specialists, – digital HR-tools are of particular importance. Results: the authors highlighted the actual problems of recruiting and evaluating IT-specialists, reviewed modern digital resources for recruiting IT-specialists, examined non-standard approaches to evaluation of professional competencies for IT-personnel as a special category of employees, the selection of which has a number of specific features.
