Abstract

Purpose: the purpose of the study was to study the features of the search engine optimization method in the marketing strategy of the company. Discussion: for this purpose, we defined the essence of search engine optimization as a modern method of marketing, the factors influencing the development tools, the method identifies the problems and prospects of development of the method. Results: search engine optimization of the website of a company selling goods and / or services on the market is a fairly effective method of brand promotion. Recently, it is often discussed that search engine optimization of the site is losing its relevance and will soon lose popularity among marketing methods. However, it seems that SEO methods will be popular and effective as long as customers use search engines to find the necessary content, product or service. Since search engines are still a popular platform for users to find content, goods, services, search engine optimization of the site will bring companies new customers and, as a consequence, profit from the sale of products.
