Ecological and economic assessment of environmental protection investment directions in the republic of Buryatia

Abstract

Purpose: сomparison of natural self-healing capacities and distribution of technogenic loads allowed identifying territories that are the most «vulnerable» to contamination. To assess the degree of importance of environmental factors in the GRP we have calculated the ecologicaleconomic index area that determine economic development and adjusted cost of restoration of the natural environment and human capital. Discussion: indicators of environmental technology-intensive measures the ability of natural systems to regenerate deleted from resources and to neutralize harmful anthropogenic impacts. Results: the obtained values of the index ratio of anthropogenic pressures and environmental technologyintensive show the high potential of the majority of self-purification in Buryatia. In two areas observed thresholds are exceeded as a result of high environmental capacity production complex areas. Environmental values vary significantly correcting regional GRP indicate the need to maintain ecological and economic equilibrium territories in accordance with resource capabilities.
