Development of strategic potential using product portfolio
Abstract
Purpose: the article is devoted to creation and development of tools and methods of strategic processes planning in modern industrial corporations. Discussion: the problems of creation of competitive industrial production are actual in Russia. It demands development of new methods of planning of strategic processes in modern industrial corporations. The authors of this article offer methodical tools of formation of a product portfolio based on the process organization of a production system and strategic potential. Results: investment strategies and strategic potential of corporations are the tools of the product portfolio matching. In this case, a new product in the portfolio may fit in with the corporation strategic potential; may not fit in with elements of the corporation strategic potential; or may partially conform.
