The economic base of the municipality: the main opportunities and directions of its development

Abstract

Purpose: identification of approaches to the economic base of municipalities and main directions of its development. Discussion: the author proposed to use the opportunities of the development of the economic base in various fields: in economics, in the field of the budget process and fiscal relations, as well as in improving the quality of management. Results: in this study we consider the approaches to determine of the economic base of the municipality, then we offered the main directions of its development and strengthening in the framework of the listed opportunities.
