IT-PROTOCLUSTER AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract

Purpose: to consider problems of creating and developing an IT-protocluster in the Voronezh region , to determine the main goals of creating an IT-protocluster and its prospects
Discussion: authors suggest that the IT-protocluster is not sufficiently developed in the Voronezh region. This protocluster is one of the main points of economic growth in the region in connection with the globalization of the economy. Authors give evidence that the main role of IT-protoclusters in the Voronezh region is to support competition.
Results: authors proposed an algorithm for identifying the IT-protocluster and the direction of its development with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the region.
