Abstract
The article is devoted to the definition of global trends that affect not only the development of the global knowledge economy, but also to determine the specifics of the Russian education market as part of the world educational space. According to the author, the Russian market of educational services include social segment, but due to poor availability of quality educational products and services to the general population, he moved to the segment of further education, which is a segment of the business - education.
