Major trends in vocational structure of the employed population in the Russian Federation

Abstract

Purpose: the article is devoted to the modern structure of employment in Russia. Discussion: this article presents a retrospective analysis of the formation of modern vocational structure of employment. The study identified the main problems faced by the employment structure at the moment, and marked contradiction, consisting of the disparity between skill-mix of employment of the Russian Federation and the goal of modernization of the economy. Results: we identified the skill-mix of employment improvement necessity through the development of social partnership by the joint actions targeted all levels of government, business and the public.
