Informational models and methods of effective adaptive systems management
Abstract
Purpose: the development of effective management of complex systems that have the mechanism of adjustment for the factors of the external environment’s influence. Discussion: We consider the management system built on the basis of a flexible network informational model in accordance with the general concept of self-regulation of the organization. The processes of controlling the functioning and development of adaptive systems are part of the input operations set built on the basis of using the mathematical means of modelling informational needs of the organization. It is the basis of a new methodology and technology for creating active adaptive informational systems. Result: We offer a formalized description in new notation of information circulating in an organizational system, that enables it to have structural, semantic and functional connections. On this basis a new system is built. The nodes of this system are agents that connect their relations and aims. The described informational model is illustrated by the functioning of a huge trade enterprise working under an active dependence on the external environment. Reserves of flexibility and dynamic change are built in into the model and they are determined either by distinguishing its elements or by introducing new contexts when interpreting the connections.
