Implementation of national projects as a condition improving the competitiveness of regions
Abstract
Purpose: to suggest the development of competitive advantages that contribute to improving the competitiveness of regions in the implementation of national projects based on the study of the formed ones. Discussion: The current stage of economic development highlights competition as a key factor determining the competitiveness of organizations, industries, and regions, and is also recognized as the main tool for achieving socioeconomic development of the country. The multidimensional nature of the concept of competitiveness and the imperfection in approaches to assessing the region from this point of view, led to the need to find criteria for evaluating the results of national projects that form the competitive advantages of the region. Results: The authors propose indicators that affect the rating assessment of the socio-economic situation of the region, which should take into account its activity in the implementation of national projects and contribute to improving competitiveness.
