Gender asymmetry of the labor market in the assessments of young women with higher education
Abstract
Purpose: the article deals with the issues of gender asymmetry of the labor market, which in modern conditions is becoming a serious barrier to improving the efficiency of employment. Discussion: the author undertook a study that revealed significant gaps in gender education during the period of study at the university. This leads to the fact that female young professionals are not ready to discriminate on the basis of gender in employment and career development. Gender segregation leads to the fact that the labor potential of young women with a high educational status is not fully realized. Results: the conducted research allowed us to form an information base for the development of managerial decisions in the field of human resources management. The author proposed the model of employment regulation of young educated women, and tested it, in the conditions of the regional labor market and it demonstrated socio-economic efficiency. The model is developed within the framework of the concept of transition to a new paradigm of effective employment.
