Transformation of the structure of intellectual capital in the period of digitalization of the economy
Abstract
Importance. A new stage of innovative development based on end-to-end digital technologies, the application of artificial intelligence actualizes the study of changes in the structure of resources necessary for the successful provision of this process, and above all intellectual capital.
Objectives. Research of the structure of in-tellectual capital, its changes in the conditions of digitalization of the economy. The study of the formation of digital capital of the organization, the analysis of in-stitutional transformations that provide conditions and incentives for the accumula-tion of intellectual capital of a new quality.
Methods. Methods of the following scientific approaches were used for the research: dialectical, systemic and institutional, as well as methods of analysis and synthesis. The research is based on the study of current scientific and periodical economic literature.
Conclusions and Relevance. The structure of intellectual capital in the modern economy is investi-gated, its elements are justified, the emergence of digital capital as a new structural element that ensures the competitiveness of firms in the period of large-scale digi-talization of the economy. The content of digital capital is revealed, the conditions and limitations of its formation in the modern Russian economy are revealed. The effectiveness of the process of forming the structure of intellectual capital requires the optimization of its structural elements in the activities of modern organizations, in some cases, large-scale restructuring. The objective need of enterprises in the conditions of digitalization to ensure competitiveness is the formation of digital capital corresponding to the scale and content of economic activity. The success of this process depends on overcoming the resistance to changes of the organization's employees, creating favorable institutional conditions that ensure, first of all, an increase in incentives and interest in the accumulation of intellectual capital of a new quality, the active formation and use of its most dynamic and significant part-digital capital.
