The problem of personnel deficit, that has been emerging in pre-crisis period, remains pressing nowadays. Ending crisis has even more revealed the situation with providing the enterprise with labor work. This may limit the possibilities of further promotion of the Russian Federation towards a powerful, competitive economy. Alleviating that situation is feasible by using present labor reserves, particularly by perfecting management of professional orientation. Current state and regional systems of managing that direction are barely effective. This leads to increasing the disproportions between the professional-qualifi cation structure of employees and the needs of an enterprise
