Abstract

The article concerns the essence of branding and marketing of territories, presents the basic concepts of the phenomenon, examines the differences in definitions. The carried out research allows to reveal strategic problems of marketing of territory and to define its role in increase of image of territory, to characterize methods of branding of territories development.
