Welfare of women of Рrimorsky Krai: current state and prospects of development

Abstract

Аrticle is devoted to the evaluation of the women's welfare in the region (for example of Primorye Territory). In the process of carrying out a statistical study were calculated integral indicators characterizing the level of welfare of women Primorsky Territory, as well as their position in relation to men. Using multivariate statistical analysis identified the main socio-demographic and economic factors that affect the level of welfare of women Primorye. Identified and predicted the main trend of the Gender-related development index as a basic indicator of women ’s welfare. Analysis of the dynamics of the Gender-related development index showed a distinct tendency to increase, indicating that the growth of the women ’s welfare of the region. Calculating the Gender-related development index showed positive trend to reduce disparities in opportunities for women and men.
