Abstract

The article considers the method of parametric vocabulary analysis (PVA), developed and implemented by Vladimir Tikhonovich Titov, applied to one of the representatives of the North Caucasian languages – Chechen. The main objective of this method is the allocation of 4 cores of language vocabulary: functional (word length), syntagmatic (number of phraseological units), paradigmatic (number of synonyms) and epidigmatic (number of definitions).
