Abstract

Based on the equilibrium curves suggested a possible mechanism of sorption saponin Quillaja Saponaria
Molina synthetic sorbent MN-200. The appearance of local extrema in the isotherm is due to competitive
processes saponin association in the sorbent phase and solution, as evidenced by the calculated value of
energy absorption and energy associations, as well as dehydration characteristics of the polymer sorbent MN-
200 in the process of absorption of saponin. The high value of the correlation coefficient, as well as comparability
of the values of the constants KL and KS with literature data, allowed to use the BET equation to describe
multilayer adsorption on the surface of saponin MN-200 sorbent
